i still feel that it is some of my best work, and remastering it
really brought out all of the elements of it that i truly enjoy.
i was unfortunate enough to discover a lot of new mastering
applications and techniques very shortly after Figurehead's
original release, and i feel it is very deserving of a good do-
over. i have decided to release it on a name-your-price basis,
which might be weird considering that the original version
was such a large release. i feel this will help get it out to those
that were not able to pick it up, and those that already do have
it certainly don't need to pay again. i hope you enjoy the album.

	thank you for downloading "Figurehead" - i feel that
to this date it's unquestionably my best work, and i've really
done all i can to make sure that you can enjoy it and get just
as much play out of it as i did while i was making it (a lot).
it's an album about moving on and taking charge (and in turn,
responsibility for how you end up), and i forced myself to do
the same musically while producing it. at times it was an
absolute pain, but the end result is better than i could have
ever imagined. the album's kind of a parallel to life in every
way, then, i guess.

	i've included a bunch of bonuses with this album for
you to pick away at, including the rough concept sketches for
the ice sculpture seen on the album's art. Squeedgemonster
(the art half of PSURG (i'm the design half)) designed all of
these and really came through with a lot of great elements,
and i like them all a ton, so i really feel like sharing them.

	my buddy at 3noneTwo was kind enough to throw together
an awesome promo animation for the album with very short notice
a couple days before release, and i've included that video
file in here for you to check out if you didn't see it on
YouTube or anything like that. this is the first time i've
ever had a totally custom promo clip done for an album, and
it's really, really awesome to have it done by somebody that
knows design the way they do. you can find him online at

	casey lalonde was awesome enough to help out along the
way with this album interms of not only performing vocals for
two tracks, but also writing theblyrics for "one life". the
guy's a great vocalist and has music that i can only classify
as being "pure style", and you should check it out over at

	i've also included 8 instrumental tracks and 8 vocal
tracks from the album. while this isn't all of the tracks, it's
a good amount of them, and this selection covers all of the
important parts of the album in that respect. some tracks weren't
given instrumental versions because of the amount of importance
the vocals have in them. the vocal tracks that are included are
licensed under a creative commons share alike license, meaning
you can do whatever you want with them, and all you have to do is
share your work the same way. remix, sample, even use them in a
track and sell the track, it's all fine by me! of course, you're
really welcome to sample anything i do or have fun with any of it
in that respect. the only thing you aren't allowed to do is
directly resell the vocals or music or whatever. that's a no-no
and it makes you look like a poophead.

	welp. enjoy the album! share it with your friends, pass it
around to whoever you want, just please include this text file! if
